This privacy policy provides information on how personal data is processed by Masterchannel AS (‘Masterchannel’). 

At Masterchannel, accessible from https://masterchannel.ai (the “Service”), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Masterchannel and how we use it. We store your account information as long as your account is active, and you have not directly reached out to us with an inquiry to delete your personal data. We will not store your personal data beyond this, unless there is another legal basis for processing it.

You are considered a data subject under the GDPR if we process your personal data. In this case, you have the following rights towards us as the controller:

  • The right to restrict data processing, if we are not yet permitted to delete your data due to legal obligations (Art. 18 GDPR);
  • The right to data portability, if you have consented to the data processing or concluded a contract with us (Art. 20 GDPR) and
  • The right to object to the processing of your data by us (Art. 21 GDPR).

The data subject is entitled to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority about how we process personal data.

We do not disclose and/or share your personal data to third parties except for the purposes listed below. We will never sell personal data to third parties.

  • Typeform: Typeform uses strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to display surveys and collect form responses. You can also grant or revoke optional consent for other purposes, such as tracking and analytics, directly via Typeform. Your usage data, first name, and customer ID are shared with Typeform S.L. Your data is processed in accordance with the GDPR, unless specific circumstances apply, which together with general data handling practices are described at https://admin.typeform.com/to/dwk6gt.
  • Audio Mastering Data: Strictly necessary to process your uploaded tracks. The data we collect are the audio files themselves and their metadata.

Functional & Performance Cookies and Data Sharing

These enhance your experience but are not strictly required for the site to load. You can manage these in your settings:

  • Session Recovery: Recovers mastering sessions you started when not logged in and adds them to your account. Uses cookies and similar technologies only after your consent. No other personal data is shared. The legal basis for this is Art. 6.1.a GDPR.
  • Tidio Support Chat: Lets you chat with support. Tidio uses cookies and similar technologies, and your usage data, user ID, name, and email address are shared with Tidio LLC. No data is sent or stored before you consent, and you can opt out at any time. Your data is typically transmitted to a server in the USA and saved there.   • Customer.io Marketing Emails: Lets us send personalized and behavioral marketing emails based on your activity. Based on Mixpanel data, we may invite selected users to participate in research interviews.
