As more and more artists are using Masterchannel to master their music through distributors, a question has become more frequent:

How can I change my already released song, to a new and remastered version of that song?

This may seem like a big task for many, but it’s actually pretty easy. So we’d like to give you a quick rundown on how you can do it:

1. First you need to copy the ISRC code on your original release. 
   
   
2. Create a new release and make sure the following is identical to the original song:
   • Song title 
   • Artist name
   • Artwork
   • Release type (single, ep and album)
   • Track length
     
     
3. Paste in the ISRC code from your original release in the new release you’ve created, and resubmit the new release.
   
   
4. After the new release is live on your preferred streaming platform, go ahead and delete the original release.
